El olivar
Un proyecto fotográfico que recorre la península Ibérica mostrando un cultivo tradicional milenario; para hablarnos de su aceite, de viejos olivares centenarios, de la personalidad de un árbol arraigado con sus pueblos bajo el cielo azul mediterráneo. Porque el olivar es mucho más que un mero cultivo agrícola. El olivar es ante todo cultura, es belleza, tradición e historia. Es pasión por el trabajo, es arte, ecología y paisaje humano; es poesía de los campos, de almazaras y cortijos blancos. Las aceitunas no son sino el corazón de sus pueblos; su aceite, una esencia dorada, de sol y tierra, de hierba y alma.
The olive grove
A photographic project that covers the Iberian Peninsula showing a traditional millenary culture; to tell us about its oil, old centenary olive groves, the personality of a tree rooted with its villages under the blue Mediterranean sky. Because the olive grove is much more than a mere agricultural crop. The olive grove is first of all culture, it is beauty, tradition and history. It is passion for work, it is art, ecology and human landscape; it is poetry of the fields, of oil mills and white farmhouses. Olives are but the heart of their peoples; its oil, a golden essence, of sun and earth, grass and soul.
